Acclaimed for her rich tone, expressive phrasing, and vocal versatility, British soprano Robyn Pullen is forging a vibrant career on both the concert and operatic stage.
She gained her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), studying with Matthew Best and Linda Richardson, following undergraduate studies at Cardiff University with Pierre-Maurice Barlier. Her development has also been shaped by masterclasses with renowned artists including Lisette Oropesa, Amanda Roocroft, David Owen Norris, Dearbhla Collins, and Elizabeth Rowe.
On the operatic stage, Robyn’s engagements include Blanche de la Force Dialogues of the Carmelites (Aylesbury Opera), Mrs Sem Noye’s Fludde (Orchestra of the Swan), Susannah Susannah (Cardiff University Operatic Society), Carmen Carmen (Cardiff University Operatic Society), and Chorus Le Nozze di Figaro (RNCM). In the 2025 season, she joins the Longborough Festival Opera Ensemble for the UK premiere of Avner Dorman’s Wahnfried: The Birth of the Wagner Cult, conducted by Justin Brown and directed by Polly Graham. She has also performed extensively in opera scenes, with repertoire ranging from Strauss Ariadne auf Naxos to Rossini La Scala di Seta.
